Lemon

RGM Press: “Lemon isn’t just keeping up with the past — they’re shaping the future of indie music.” Odyssey Magazine: "One of the most exciting bands bubbling up from the Netherlands." Lemon blends indie pop, soul rock, and dance grooves from Amsterdam, inspired by the spirit of the Second Summer of Love. Quite some music blogs call it Neo-Madchester; the band calls it Nedchester. Think Primal Scream, Stone Roses, Kula Shaker, Happy Mondays, The Charlatans, think The Kooks and Talking Heads. In 2025 Lemon released a series of singles featuring Cath Coffey of Stereo MC’s. Earlier, the band released five highly praised albums that earned top ratings and rave reviews. Some quotes from reviews “the best what shoegaze dance pop has to offer,” “one of the biggest hidden gems in the Netherlands,” and “surely going to break out to global stardom.” They’ve shared the stage with Primal Scream, Stereo MC’s, and The Charlatans, and have earned a reputation for live shows bursting with energy, consistently rated 4 or 5 stars.
