Dekker

Brookln Dekker is a US born, UK based songwriter releasing music under the name Dekker. After years touring internationally with the folk duo Rue Royale , he began writing and releasing solo work that has found a strong audience across Europe, with millions of streams and sold out shows. His music sits somewhere between indie folk and alternative. Acoustic guitar, subtle rhythm, and a voice that tends to stay close to the listener. The songs often circle questions rather than answer them, leaving room for both unease and a kind of quiet optimism. Over several albums, Dekker has built a body of work that feels intimate and unforced. Less about statement, more about discovery. Songs that change shape over time, both for him and for the people who embrace them.
