Born in Brunei and raised in Shishuwa, Pokhara, Nepal, Yodda is a London-based rapper and producer reshaping Nepalese music. His name, meaning word “warrior," reflects his early focus on crafting hard-hitting, meaningful lyrics. Influenced by hip-hop, pop, R&B, and trap, Yodda’s music is a unique blend of raw storytelling and innovative sounds that connect deeply with his audience. Since starting his journey in 2012, Yodda has become one of well known artist in Nepal. With a growing fanbase and performances in cities like Sydney, London, New York, and Kathmandu, he’s built a global presence for Nepalese music. His self-produced tracks like "Kharab Bani" and “Saino Tapai,” alongside collaborations with artists like Dong and Sushant KC, highlight his versatility and creativity. Yodda’s upcoming project (awaiting name release for the project), reflects his evolving sound, combining dark, aggressive themes with experimental production. While known for writing deeply personal songs, he aspires to tell broader stories that resonate with listeners worldwide. Inspired by icons like Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Yama Buddha, YubRaj Ghale and MC Flo, Yodda aims to become one of Nepal’s most successful artists.
