eski iki

eski iki is the musical brainchild of singer-songwriter Çağatay Gençer and producer/sound engineer Özgür Öztürk. The duo kicked things off in 2024 after about a year of cooking up sounds behind closed doors, and finally started sharing their music with the world in 2025. Their vibe? Think minimalist beats, organic textures, warm and soft vocals, and grooves that make your body sway without even realizing it. eski iki blends alternative pop with smooth R&B flavors, all while keeping things simple, heartfelt, and seriously easy on the ears. Çağatay brings a unique touch to the mix with his background in Turkish Folk Music, weaving familiar Anatolian melodies into fresh new songs. Before eski iki, he was doing his thing with solo projects in the hip-hop and R&B world. On the flip side, Özgür, a rock guy at heart, spent 15 years at Studio Circus as a sound engineer, helping shape a bunch of hit records. Now, he’s all about creating that warm, cozy atmosphere that pulls you right into the music. Basically, eski iki is about less noise, more feeling — songs you can lose yourself in, whether you're chilling at home, cruising in the car, or just need a soundtrack to your daydreams. Come hang out with us.
