Biography & Metadata
5hy (shy) is an independent singer-songwriter whose music reflects on dark romance and self-loathing. After experimenting various genres early on, she settled into her current sound in 2025 heard across multiple releases including “sick in the head” and “forever mine” blending shoegaze, numetal and early 2000s postgrunge. She keeps a minimal social media presence, uninterested in popularity or influencer culture. Her music is personally drawn from her experiences and trauma— she creates not for visibility, but to resonate with the listener. "Not a public figure, just enjoy the music." - 5hy
