Biography & Metadata

Whyzer is the solo project of Belgian producer Yannick De Schryver. Since starting a new chapter on his own in 2024, his sound has slowly taken shape around what matters most to him: melody, emotion and songs people can recognize something of themselves in. Getting there has been a journey of trying, learning and growing. Songs like Soulmate, Shake Things Up and Secrets Don’t Die each brought something different and helped shape the artist he is today. The same goes for working with Greta G, Austin Taylor, Jordan Grace, Jamie Wiltshire and Elsie Moraïs, different voices and personalities that brought new experiences, perspectives and plenty to learn from along the way. Fighting Chance became a personal milestone. Honest, more vulnerable and a step outside his comfort zone, it opened the door to a more pop-oriented side of Whyzer while keeping melody and emotion at its core. Now past one million streams tracked across platforms by Songstats, Whyzer is incredibly grateful for everyone who has listened, shared or returned to one of his songs. Next up is FWYK, written and sung by Austin Taylor, bringing his unmistakable voice to a collaboration that has once again been as inspiring as it has been rewarding. The new single leans further into pop, but the bigger picture is becoming clearer too: wherever the music goes next, it’s starting to sound more and more like Whyzer.
