Freja Drakenberg

Stockholm native Freja Drakenberg has dedicated her whole life to music. In 2016, Freja started assisting producer and songwriter Björn Yttling (Peter Bjorn and John, Lykke Li, Primal Scream) in the studio, which led to her joining Peter Bjorn and John as percussionist, guitarist and vocalist on the band’s world tour for their Breakin’ Point album. After returning home from tour, Freja and Björn started collaborating in the studio, resulting in her debut EP Long Gone Girl in 2020 and the follow-up EP Midnight Feelings in 2023. Freja is also a producer and songwriter and has worked with with artists such as Taken By Trees, Albin Lee Meldau and GERD. Freja Drakenberg has opened for acts such as First Aid Kit, Franz Ferdinand, Peter Bjorn and John and Anna Ternheim and is also a part of First Aid Kit’s touring band on keys and back-up vocals.
