The Race

The Race—a DIY indie boy/girl band formed in 2004—built a reputation with two albums, hundreds of gigs and festivals across the UK and Europe, radio sessions for Radio 1, 6Music and Xfm, and festival appearances at Reading Festival and Truck Festival. Following a hiatus of sixteen years and having welcomed ten children between them, their lifelong friendship and the need for a creative outlet amidst the relentlessness of family life have sparked a new wave of creativity. In the garage studio of bassist Grae, they’ve recorded and produced a flurry of songs - forged through the ups and downs of life, a snapshot of life as they find it, their best work to date.
