Davis Bain is a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. As a fourth-generation musician, he grew up surrounded by music and has spent years developing a sound built on melody, groove, and thoughtful songwriting. Later in life, discovering recordings made by his estranged father offered an unexpected source of inspiration, reinforcing Bain’s commitment to creating music of his own. Bain released his first two albums, Love In Blue (2014) and Around The Sun (2019), with longtime friend and collaborator Afrokeys. For his third album, Lifetime (2024), he teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Nicolay (The Foreign Exchange). While Nicolay produced the album, Bain wrote the songs and performed nearly every instrument.
