Dropping their debut album “Hello Welcome” in 2022, The ensemble have received substantial support from Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing. Plus airplay from legendary DJ Sir David Rodigan on BBC Radio 1 Extra. The band has been featured prominently at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Boardmasters, Boomtown Fair, Beautiful Days, and numerous others. Additionally, they’ve had the opportunity to showcase their stagecraft at many prestigious music venues, extending their reach into Europe. The Bandit has enjoyed the privilege of opening for acclaimed international artists including Lee “Scratch” Perry, Katchafire, The Cat Empire, Easy Star All-Stars, Dubioza Kolectiv, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Specials, Dreadzone, and many others After a lucrative 2023 campaign heading out on tour with the legendary Dub Pistols The group are currently constructing works for Album #2 and preparing for another full schedule of touring and festivals in 2024.
