Matias Vega

Matías Vega is a DJ and electronic music producer based in Catamarca, Argentina. His sound is rooted in progressive, melodic and house music, defined by depth, emotion and carefully crafted musical storytelling. He began his journey as a DJ in 2019 and started producing music in 2023, studying at Arjaus and developing a refined, atmospheric and elegant artistic identity. His growth within the scene has been fast and consistent, positioning him as one of the most solid emerging names in the Argentine progressive circuit. His breakthrough came with his remix of “Rockka”, which received strong support from Nick Warren and Hernán Cattáneo, including plays at Loveland. Nick Warren continued to support the track throughout the European summer of 2024, marking a key moment in Matías’s international exposure. He has released music on more than 15 record labels worldwide, with standout releases on The Soundgarden (curated by Nick Warren) and Plattenbank (by Guy Mantzur). Behind the decks, he delivers hypnotic and emotional sets focused on long musical journeys, narrative flow and a deep connection with the dance floor. He is currently working on new material and expanding his international presence, shaping a project defined by depth, elegance and a clear artistic vision.
