Valencia James

New York born, Sydney bred dark-pop artist Valencia James is making music for those in need. With a catalogue of music inspired by real life events, Valencia is on a mission song by song to give listeners something real, something organic, something true. Since releasing her debut single, "Flames", which garnered both critical and commercial acclaim, Valencia has since been featured on Earmilk, Idobi radio, and Variance magazine. She has also been writing and producing songs for artists including Sony Japan artists “Yuta Hashimoto” and “Anonymouz”, as well as collaborating with producers all around the world. She is now back with her own new release, "Chills”. “Chills” is an electronic pop song that was written by Valencia, and produced by Valencia and Peter James. It’s an exciting change of pace for her as she explores new sounds and textures and stepping out into unchartered territories. If anything these last 2 years have shown her there’s no time like the present to back yourself, challenge yourself, and just go for the dreams you never thought you could, because no one knows what the future holds. Now with multiple releases coming out with other artists and producers, Valencia has certainly reached a certain type of momentum and it doesn’t look like she’ll be slowing down anytime soon.
