Tosca

Singer, actress, and eclectic artist with an innate inclination towards research and experimentation, she has released nine studio albums and four live albums. A rare artist on the Italian music scene, her curiosity about other cultures, passion for cross-cultural influences, and ability to translate this exploration into music make her an artist who embodies openness to dialogue and encounter. Winner of the 2025 Tenco Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to the worldwide singer-songwriter tradition, she has collaborated with major Italian and international names, including Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Paolo Fresu, Chico Buarque, Cezar Mendes, Arnaldo Antunes, Luisa Sobral, Ivano Fossati, Renzo Arbore, Lucio Dalla, Renato Zero, and Ron, with whom she won the Sanremo Music Festival in 1996. In 2020, she took part in the 70th Sanremo Music Festival with the song Ho amato tutto, written by Pietro Cantarelli. She was awarded the Giancarlo Bigazzi Prize for Best Composition and placed sixth in the overall ranking. During the evening dedicated to covers, she performed Piazza Grande in a duet with Sílvia Pérez Cruz, reaching first place in the rankings. Her latest album, Feminae, was released in April 2026 by BMG and features her alongside some of the greatest names in Italian and international singer-songwriter music, including Ornella Vanoni, Maria Bethânia, Carmen Consoli, Stacey Kent, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Mama Marjas, and Cristina Branco.
