Biography & Metadata

Singer and eclectic artist with an innate propensity for research and experimentation, she has collaborated with great artists such as Ivano Fossati, Lucio Dalla, Renzo Arbore, Nicola Piovani, Ennio Morricone, Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, Ron (with whom she won the Sanremo Festival in 1996), Luísa Sobral, Sìlvia Pérez Cruz. Under her belt, she has 9 studio albums and thirteen between live and theatrical albums. Since September 2022 she has been the Artistic Director of Officina Pasolini, the Laboratorio e HUB culturale of Regione Lazio already led since 2015 as coordinator of the Song section. For the past years she has been busy in a long international tour for ‘Morabeza’, an album released alongside the documentary ‘Il suono della voce’ - which earned her the Nastro d’Argento as “Protagonista dell’anno”. She was also awarded with two Targhe Tenco - one of which was the best single song with “Ho amato tutto”, the track which won the Bigazzi award at the 70th Sanremo Festival. In 2024 she is resident artist at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome to celebrate her artistic journey which started 30 years ago with a series of events, all exclusive and all different from each other.
