Cody Q

Cody Quillen (Cody Q) is an artist and producer from Tullahoma, TN. He has been working on his craft since 2015 when he was in high school and bought his first DAW: Presonus's Studio One. Cody took lessons for piano at a young age and quickly switched to guitar in middle school. He then taught himself how to record, mix, and master music, on his PC that he built in 2015. He and his friend William Kuebitz created a group called Kinetic Potential from 2016 to 2017 and released two albums that were produced and written by Cody. In late 2017, Cody went to college for audio production at MTSU where he realized he despised the DAW Pro-Tools and then switched his major to Music Business where he graduated in 2021. During this time he co-founded his own band with guitarist Mike Sevell, singer Evan Price, drummer Matt Fehrenbacher, and bassist Destiny Smith. Cabin Color went on to play 50+ shows at venues all over Murfreesboro and Nashville and released two studio albums. Unfortunately the second album was released in March 2020, which halted the band for about a year until it ultimately ended. Cody was the producer, writer, and guitarist/pianist for Cabin Color from 2018 to 2021. Cody Q created hip hop from 2021 to 2023 with songs such Charlie Day. He now is creating a new name for himself and going back to his old love which is alt rock. He released his newest project, an album called CRASHOUT which he released in May of 2026.
