NICK NORTON-SMITH is an established composer/multi instrumentalist with a highly diverse career in film, TV and the performing arts. Nick studied composition with Amit Sen (Head of Jazz Arranging and Composition Royal Academy of Music) and began his career with the Oxford University Revue as a saxophone/woodwind player, studying at Guildhall School of Music London with Jean Toussaint ( Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers) and classical flute with Ian Clarke Professor of flute, Guildhall School of Music, London. Drawing experience from a performing career spanning 16 West End shows & international tours with numerous artists including Frank Sinatra, Cynthia Erivo, Acid jazz legends The Brand New Heavies, The Proclaimers and many more. Winner BEST MUSICIAN Edinburgh International Jazz Festival. Nick is a BAFTA and IVORS ACADEMY member & London resident.
