Edac

Edac, born Cade Loeffler in Riverside, CA, is an experimental hip‑hop artist known for blending ambient textures, genre‑bending ideas, and nonstop creativity. With over 1.5k tracks released across nine years, he built a loyal underground following through songs like Chicken Nuggets and Roblox, while refusing to let trends or early success shape his art. A lifelong performer, Edac grew from school talent shows and early YouTube beat‑making into a fully independent artist. After rapping with DJ Fusion and Brent Lv3 he launched the Edac name in 2017 with his debut album DARN, gaining attention for his humor, raw emotion, and unique sound. His journey includes overcoming personal struggles, including two voluntary rehab stays, which inspired projects like Always 1 Mood and the recovery‑focused A‑LIVE EP. From 2023 onward, Edac entered his most prolific era, dropping hundreds of tracks and collaborating with artists like Excape, triple T , and Jae.trapp. Their 2024 joint album They Wanna Be Just Like Jae Trapp marked a new underground milestone. Inspired by Lil B, Kanye West and Nas, Edac continues to evolve, experiment, and release relentlessly—an artist defined by resilience, authenticity, and constant creation.
