Biography & Metadata
LXG Rude, known as Rude, is a hip-hop artist from Delwood Acres in Adel, Georgia, blending Southern roots, lyrical grit, and timeless rap influence into a sound that feels grounded and modern. Inspired by icons like Outkast, Tupac, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z, Rude builds from a classic hip-hop foundation while bringing his perspective, storytelling, and presence to every record. He began making music in the early 2000s, recording alongside family and sharing songs through MySpace and SoundCloud. What started as local momentum turned into something deeper after the loss of a close friend, a moment that pushed him to take music seriously. Determined to create on his own terms, Rude invested in a starter studio, taught himself how to record, and dedicated himself to sharpening his craft and building a sound that was unmistakably his. That hunger led to early mixtapes and freestyles that built a loyal following in Adel and beyond, eventually setting the stage for his debut album, Up from Here, featuring standout records like “Ghost of You” and “Matters.” Since then, Rude has continued to evolve, pairing authenticity, pain, ambition, and Southern edge in a way that resonates far beyond his hometown. Now entering 2026 with momentum, Rude is pushing forward off the strength of his recent release “Cry,” featuring Fuego Base, affiliated with Benny the Butcher and Black Soprano Family. With every release, LXG Rude continues to prove he’s not just carrying a story, he’s building a legacy.
