Emerging from the UK, Ethan James is a fresh face, voice and energy to the scene. Born in 2000, Ethan grew up in Watford and knew that music was his calling. Singing from the age of 4, he knew that his voice and love for music would take him further than academia ever would, and he rightly followed it. Releasing his first song, 'Hard Times' in 2020 alongside a video introducing the world to his light-hearted energy and free-spirit character through fun visuals, solid lyrics and smooth vocals. 
 A mixture of Alternative and R&B, Ethan James bends the notion of genre as his music transcends pop music. He places soothing vibes over neo-soul/funk beats - landing himself articles in Complex UK and selling out his first show. Influenced by Tyler the Creator, Giveon, and 90s style R&B artists, Ethan's sound brings a breath of fresh air with rhythmic melodies and beautiful tones to keep your peace. Featuring on Ava Zarate's 'What I Think of You'; His intense lyrics and honey-like vocals on 'You or Me' and 'Lately i', are just the beginning of what can be expected from the artist, as he takes us on his journey.
