Meditative Sounds

Soundsystem since 1998 Meditative Sounds is the Roots Heavyweight Soundsystem and the first of its kind in Sweden. We build our own boxes and combine our different skills as a sound to work in unity and respect. We produce our own music and hopefully we'll soon get more of our own productions up on Spotify which is currenntly on vinyl. New bandcamp page for Meditative Sounds! In 2001 the Meditative Recording Studio was set up and they began their own productions. The record label was launched in 2005 with a 10" vinyl release and since then a series of tunes have been released on various formats. Riddims were usually built by Meditative Sounds and then sent to Dougie Wardrop or Russ Disciple for mixing. The first three Bandcamp releases, launched recently, are the most recent ones on the label and feature vocals by Creation Stepper, Isiah Mentor and El Indio with mixes by Dougie Wardrop (Conscious Sounds) & Russ Bell-Brown (Disciples).
