Lyzaira

Lyzaira, born on July 19, 1996, in the Netherlands, is a singer and businesswoman with Cape Verdean roots. Despite her passion for music, she faced deep personal losses when her brother passed away in 2002 and her sister in 2009. These tragedies led her to step away from music during her teenage years, filled with grief and anger. At 17, Lyzaira became pregnant, giving birth to her daughter Jelea at 18. Although motherhood brought new responsibilities, it wasn’t until 2020 that she decided to transform her life, seeking therapy and rediscovering her love for music. Her determination led to the release of her debut single, “Catch the Vibe,” in 2022, marking her comeback to music. Music has always been central to Lyzaira’s life. As a child, she was part of the duo “Dopest Flow.” Her musical influences include her uncle, Gil Semedo, and Sade. Lyzaira’s sound is infused with her African roots, blending soul and emotion into her music to touch people deeply. On December 1, 2024, she will perform her first live show, a pivotal moment in her career. In 2025, she is set to release her debut EP, which will showcase her as a confident artist. Lyzaira aims to inspire not just women, but anyone who believes their life can’t change—showing that you can always turn things around when you decide. In addition to music, Lyzaira runs a business with her mother and strives to make a lasting impact in both music and business, inspiring others to pursue their dreams.
