Dhaval Kothari

A classical Indian tenor, Dhaval Kothari has been singing since the tender age of seven. His musical journey began with his introduction to the Mewati gharana of Hindustani classical music under the guidance of Shri Gautam Kale. Consequently, Dhaval trained under Pt. Ajay Pohankar ji in Mumbai. With its dreamlike quality made of deep, sumptuous tones, his voice lends its signature style to his fresh new indie music. Dhaval has also made his way into the hearts of people through #FolkTales, a series lending a touch of novelty to timeless Indian folk songs through his original compositions. Dhaval is a multilingual vocalist with a repertoire in Gujarati, Punjabi, Rajasthani. His audience spans the globe with over 170K monthly listeners on Spotify, 95K subscribers and over 32M views on his YouTube channel. Top favourites by Dhaval include Kon Halave Limdi, Kaho Poonam Na and many more. He has not just owned the live stage across Indian cities, but also impressed audiences in Spain and Australia. Dhaval has done his Master’s degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, Valencia, Spain. He has had the opportunity to work with various artists and their managers across the world. Dhaval was part of Spotify’s Artist and Label Partnerships team where he successfully led key indie music projects such as Radar India and Fresh Finds India. Today, Dhaval is the founder of All By Play, a 360-degree integrated marketing company for musicians.
