Hailing from Long Island, New York, Matthew Orgel is a pop artist with a storyteller’s heart — turning personal experiences into lyrics that feel both intimate and universal. He started playing piano at just four years old, eventually honing his craft at Berklee College of Music, graduating with a degree in Songwriting in 2022. Now based in Nashville, Matthew’s music is deeply reflective, capturing the highs and lows of life with a poetic honesty that resonates. His 2023 single Happiness is a Boy was a semi-finalist in the American Songwriter Magazine Song Contest. In 2024, he released two EPs — This Is What’s Been Going On and The Best Things — showcasing his range from raw vulnerability to polished pop. His upcoming single, THE THRILL OF IT, marks the start of a bold new era, blending early 2000s energy with the emotional depth that defines his sound.
