Jill Sheffield

Originally from Louisiana, Jill Sheffield is a singer-songwriter in Atlanta whose raspy, soulful voice brings honesty and heart to every performance. After playing guitar for many years, she didn’t begin singing publicly until 2019, when she started voice lessons to overcome her fear of singing. Growing up with deaf parents may have contributed to her resistance to performing, but after the pandemic, countless open mics across northeast metro Atlanta helped transform that fear into confidence. Since then, Jill has performed for audiences of all sizes, including nearly 200 attendees at the recent CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) International Conference in Chicago. With her debut single already released and two more on the way, she’s excited to continue sharing her music.
