Biography & Metadata

Praised for diversity in his DJing and musical writing, Dowden presents a deep, yet charging energy full of Melodic atmosphere. Ranging from high octane gritty Progressive nuance, to enchanting Deep House hymns, all with a subtle tone of darkness and mystery. With the growth of his style, came down to a more mature and underground sound. Dowden decided with the change in style, and his change as an artist, it was time to start new, with a new name. Soon after the name change came the support from artists such as Darin Epsilon, JOBE, Marcelo Vasami, Quivver, Jaques Le Noir, and many more. In may of 2018 Dowden was featured in the 'Best of Progressive House' chart on Beatport.com, and months later his 3 track 'Orka' EP was included in an Official Spotify playlist for major Electronic Music festival 'Tomorrowland'. As of July 2018, Dowden had collaborated with fellow Toronto artist, Amber Long, to release a 3 track EP, featuring the collaboration with Amber's vocal talents on the title track 'Ripple'. The EP was released on Amber's own imprint 'Modern Agenda' and received high praise whilst also breaking into the Beatport Top 10 Hype Progressive House tracks, with 'Ripple'. Dowden has many music releases to end off 2018, as well as debuting performances in Europe, and the United States.
