RYDERHOOD marked a defining arrival. Released in May 2025, the debut EP introduced Ryder as a producer capable of building immersive sonic worlds, uniting BXKS, Ciel and Daniela Wizard under one cohesive vision. The project earned praise from Clash, Complex, Crack Magazine, DJ Mag, NME, Notion, The Face and Metal Magazine, alongside national radio support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra, positioning him as a world-builder shaping modern UK sound. He expanded that universe with RYDERHOOD 2, collaborating with Louis Culture, JayG, Dré Six, Skit and Rushy. Unorthodox arrangements, subtle structural shifts and atmosphere-led production define his approach, reframing artists within his distinct sonic landscape. Alongside his own releases, Ryder has contributed production connected to Skepta, reinforcing his presence within contemporary British rap. Influenced by J Dilla, Labi Siffre, Moby and Kanye, he prioritises feeling over formula. Raised in Hull and now based in London, Ryder represents a new generation of UK producers: genre-fluid, emotionally direct and structurally fearless.
