Jyothish Kassi (born 22 March 1981) is a renowned Indian lyricist and composer in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut in 2016, collaborating with music director Jakes Bejoy by composing three songs for the film Kavi Uddheshichathu. Over the years, he has become a respected name in the industry, known for his poetic depth and emotive writing. He has worked with several prominent music directors including Jakes Bejoy, Ratheesh Vega, Manikandan Ayyappa, Ouseppachan, Sidharth Vipin, and Alphonse Joseph. His breakthrough came with the hit song "Vennilave" from the film Queen, followed by acclaimed tracks like "Etho Tharattin" and the powerful "Jana Gana Mana Theme" from Jana Gana Mana. Notable works such as "Manamariyunnolu" from Porinju Mariyam Jose and "Neeyennoralil" from Pappan further showcased his ability to blend lyrical finesse with cinematic storytelling.
