Biography & Metadata
Recognised as one of classical music’s leading young voices, Luka Faulisi was featured on Classic FM’s 2023 “30 Under 30” Rising Stars list and was named a BBC Music Magazine Rising Star the same year. He is a recipient of the distinguished Bicentenary Scholarship from London’s Royal Academy of Music, where he was mentored by Professor Robin Wilson. Luka records exclusively for Sony Classical. In 2024, Sony released his highly acclaimed interpretation of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with Orkiestra Historyczna under Martyna Pastuszka. His debut recital album, Aria, recorded with pianist Itamar Golan in 2023, won multiple awards including a Diapason d’Or and a Choc Classica. Five thousand fans greeted Luka Faulisi as he stepped onto the stage of the Royal Albert Hall to make his UK debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic in 2024. Luka’s collaborations with orchestras also include Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre National d'Île-de-France at the Philharmonie de Paris and La Seine Musicale, Orchestra Filharmonica di Torino, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, among others. Passionate about bringing classical music to new fans, Luka teams up with a European stand-up comedy star Alex Vizorek for a 41-date tour across the French-speaking countries in the current season. His program, made up of works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Bizet, Ravel, Saint-Saens, Jobim, Piazzolla and Gershwin, draws a socially and ethnically diverse audiences.
