Carl is a multi platinum awarded composer, songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist living in Sweden. Penned and produced song of the year in Japan, song of the year in Korea, songwriter on Grammy (USA) awarded album. Songs recorded by artists/bands such as SHINee, Super Junior, Arashi, Kat-Tun, News and more.... Carl Utbult was born on the west coast of Sweden into a family where music was a central part of life. Surrounded by melodies and rhythms from an early age, he developed a deep connection to sound and expression. From his dream as a young boy, Carl is now a multi-platinum awarded composer and songwriter, and his previous compositions have been heard on television networks across the world. Carl is also a skilled multi-instrumentalist, with piano as his primary instrument. Living close to the northern sea with its ever-changing moods and vast horizons, has always been a profound source of inspiration for his artistry, shaping his creative journey as a composer. His music is ambient and cinematic, with a blend of electronic elements. With his new project, Carl blends soft flowing piano melodies with carefully curated collaborations, inviting instrumentalists and vocalists to weave their unique voices into the music.
