The Last Concorde

The Last Concorde is Jordi and Xavier Godàs, two brothers from Badalona (Spain). They create electronic music based on nostalgic sounds and melodies that will take you back to 1984's most hedonist and cinematic experiences. Just try popping one of their cassettes in your walkman and riding your BMX to the nearest retro gaming arcade! Like producers College, Timecop1983 and The Midnight, The Last Concorde share a personally-styled mix of NuDisco, Retrowave and Italo which makes them unique and has allowed them to become part of the international Retrowave scene. Their self-titled debut was released in 2020 by respected synthwave label Outland Recordings. Subsequent albums Dream Machine (2021) and Flashback (2023) have also been released through Outland Recordings. In their efforts to create and expand on the Synthwave scene in Spain, Jordi and Xavier have curated the Ona Electronica Music Festival, exclusive to the genre in the country. The Last Concorde return with “Wall Street,” the first single from their upcoming fourth concept album, Wall Street Boys. Their signature Mediterranean Dreamwave meets classic synthwave in this mid-tempo instrumental, blending the neon haze of Miami Vice with the feverish energy of 1980s downtown New York. Inspired by the era of Wall Street excess, trading floors and unapologetic pure ambition, “Wall Street” sets the scene for a cinematic story of greed, glamour and risk.
