Trey Tarzia

Tarzia can be seen worldwide performing as a first-call drummer with Cosmic Collective, Eli Yacinthe, Tony Malaby, Joey DuBois, Lord Jah-Monte Ogbon, VVN, Glue, The Nut, San Trinh, and more. He also performs solo improvised drum/electronic sets that have been featured in series such as Transporter and the Allston New Music Festival in Boston, as well as Daniel Levin’s Sanctuary Series in Durham, NC. You can also find Trey DJing frequently; he has been featured on Boston-based independent radio station Central on Air multiple times, and has performed on bills with DJ’s such as DJ Manny, Cakedog, Bratattack, Lilith, and more. 2024 saw the release of Tarzia’s first solo body of work, an EP called “duets” which contains 4 improvised duo pieces. Less than a month later, Cosmic Collective’s “Jellowstoned” was released, an album with Tarzia playing drums on all tracks with production by DJ Harrison of Butcher Brown. The collaborations with Cosmic Collective would continue; Trey can be heard playing drums on a majority of the Cosmic Cooks album series, as well as several tracks scattered through their discography. Tarzia’s most recent release is an album entitled “really”, which is a collaboration with electronic musician/improviser guuumaqu. Tarzia has been currently working on releasing some recordings of his new band Sauteed Grabba. Their album is set to be released in Fall 2026.
