Biography & Metadata

Samsara Blues Experiment (SBE) was a German band whose musical style was characterised by extensive explorations of Heavy Psychedelic Rock. Founded in 2007 by Christian Peters (vocals & guitar), the band played a blend of stoner rock and psychedelic blues, occasionally incorporating influences from Indian raga. The band’s line-up included Richard Behrens (bass until 2014), Thomas Vedder (drums) and Hans Eiselt (rhythm guitar, bassist since 2014). In 2020, following the release of their fifth album "End Of Forever", the band announced an indefinite hiatus and eventually disbanded in 2024. SBE’s main songwriter, Chris Peters, continues to release music with his current projects Fuzz Sagrado and Surya Kris Peters. Also all the other members remain active on the music scene. Richard Behrens has established himself as a prolific producer at Berlin’s Big Snuff Studio, whilst Thomas Vedder and Hans Eiselt continue to perform in Krun Macula, among other bands.
