Massimo Vaccaro

I’m Massimo Vaccaro, a musician and sound designer who moves freely across genres — from lo-fi jazz to ambient and electronic music. Using a hardware-centered setup, I build loops, warm noise, and field recordings that unfold gradually, shifting from mellow, jazz-tinged grooves to deep drones and slow-moving electronics — somewhere between Basinski’s tape decay and the patient, modal drift of the Berlin School. A yoga teacher by vocation and an engineer by trade, I also perform live soundscapes for relaxation and Yoga Nidra, where sound becomes a space to breathe in. My work is shaped by a lasting fascination with Indian classical music and the tabla, and by a wider love for photography and contemporary art.
