MattyM113 is a rising artist born and raised in Thohoyandou J, Muledane. His story in music began in 2009 when his older brother wrote raps for him, planting the seed that later grew into his own creative identity. After years of sharpening his craft, MattyM113 released his debut mixtape The Soul Tape in 2019, featuring Rude Kid Venda and a guest appearance from Mass The Difference. He followed with his 2020 EP Back and Fourth, which includes standout tracks like “Reach My Heart” featuring Jaded Frankie and “Tricky Raww,” showcasing his emotional depth and melodic versatility. By 2025, MattyM113 pushed his sound into wider circles with notable appearances on Mizo Phyll’s songs “Morning On For the Vhathu” and “Road With You,” expanding his presence in the Venda music wave and beyond. Now, he is focused on crafting his debut album Rebirth—a bold step that captures growth, resilience, and a new creative chapter. With authentic roots, sharp lyricism, and evolving artistry, MattyM113 continues carving out a lane that is uniquely his.
