Mitchell Broodley

Mitchell Broodley is a country artist, songwriter, producer, and attorney raised in South Carolina and now based in Vermont. He writes, performs, and produces music shaped by his own experiences (mostly), relationships, moments he never hopes to experience, and the moments you think about wanting to relive. After stepping away from an early Nashville opportunity to attend graduate school, Broodley spent years building a different kind of life, one that gave him better stories to tell. He came back to country music not chasing what he’d left behind, but with sharper perspective and something real to say. His songs favor honesty and melody, usually written when the house is finally quiet and the dogs and kids are sleeping. While Broodley fits clearly in the country genre, his sound reflects some of his favorite artists in pop, blues, and Americana. “Boy Who Led You On” is a song written from lived experience and the experiences of people he knows, where the one they thought was forever merely became the bridge to “the one.” This song features some of the same players as his other tracks since December 2025.
