Biography & Metadata

Sherie Rene Scott is an award-winning actor, singer, writer and producer. She has starred in numerous Broadway and off-Broadway plays and musicals, can be heard on many solo and Grammy Award-winning original cast recordings, and has been seen in several film and television roles. Scott founded the multiple Grammy Award-winning first independent Broadway record label, Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records (2000-2015), which was also honored with a Drama Desk Award for contributions to musical theater. Scott co-authored the critically acclaimed Tony award-nominated 'Everyday Rapture' and 'Whorl Inside A Loop' as well as authoring the New York Times and New York Magazine's 'Best of the Year' productions 'Piece Of Meat' and 'Twohander' performed with Todd Almond.
