They earned attention with their irresistible breakthrough single ‘Night Over Manaus’ in 1998, their legendary debut album ‚Satta’ released in 2001 and it ´s 2005 sequel ‘Dust My Broom’. They also demonstrated their excellent and wide-ranging musical taste on two excellent mix-compilations, ‘Juke Joint’ on Stereo Deluxe and ‘Juke Joint II’ on !K7. Furthermore their darker, 2014 album 4 on Apollo, which was influenced by ambient dub artists like Brian Eno, the Basic Channel roster, and Jon Hassell. With more than 100.000 albums sold and their music being featured on over 300 compilations, Boozoo Bajou have managed to capture a wide audience with their individualistic approach to modern music.
