Native Leaves

Native Leaves is a genre-bending reggae/hip-hop band from Salt Lake City, Utah, known for blending coastal reggae rhythms, hip-hop energy, and soulful storytelling into an uplifting and unmistakably unique sound. Formed in 2019, the band continues to evolve while staying rooted in the positive, high-vibe spirit that first sparked their rise. Fronted by vocalist Logan “Lowg” Kartchner, Native Leaves has recently expanded their sonic palette with the addition of Lead guitarist J. Ezra, whose dynamic playing brings a fresh edge to the band’s live performance. Founding member Adam Ashby performing as a DJ/ukulele hybrid, adding melodic texture and modern production elements that elevate the group’s evolving sound. Rounding out the lineup is Brigham Tauteoli on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, completing the band’s powerful harmonic core. Since releasing their 2021 debut LP Dabin Fever—which has now surpassed over 1 million streams—Native Leaves has steadily grown into one of the most exciting rising acts in the Western reggae/alternative scene. Fan-favorite tracks like “Sundress” and “Park City” helped establish their identity, while singles like “High Heels” and their latest release “Riot” showcase the band’s continued evolution and willingness to push into bold new territory.
