George Solar

After nearly two decades as an all year round Ibiza resident DJ with an annual 150+ gigs under his belt, George Solar keeps playing the most prestigious balearic hotspots year after year - from regular sunsets at legendary seaside venues Hostal La Torre and Kumharas via the coolest poolside places to the occasional all night stint in the VIP backroom of the worlds’ first hyperclub. With various influential solo releases & collaborations/remixes with/for genre dons Blank & Jones, Chris Coco and José Padilla, George has long forged his signature downtempo sound… hailed by some as “NuBalearic” and now literally streamed by the millions around the globe. As a (studied) percussionist both live & in the recording studio, he has played with/recorded for the likes of reggae legend Johnny Osbourne, organic house darlings @PAAX (Tulum), acoustic chill duo Nick & Samantha and German hip hop trailblazers Exponential Enjoyment (to name a few). George also is a member of downtempo collective Solar Moon since its inception 1994 (in Cologne/Germany).
