Biography & Metadata

Daniel Fürst Zoffel also known as DisasZt, is an Austrian drum & bass producer, DJ, entrepreneur, and scene architect. Active since the early 2000s, he helped grow Austrian DnB from a niche into a sustainable, internationally connected scene. His influence extends beyond releases into label leadership, event strategy and programming, concept & direction, artist development, club operations, and long-term infrastructure building. Sound: dark, technical, uncompromising—rooted in neurofunk, techstep, and deep rolling DnB. His tracks are DJ- and club-driven, built for high-pressure sound systems rather than trends. Releases: Mainframe Recordings (founder/primary outlet) plus RAM, Viper, V, Technique, Audio Porn and Eatbrain (compilations/collabs), alongside European underground imprints. Mainframe (founded 2002) became Austria’s leading DnB ecosystem—label, major events, international bookings, and talent development—professionalizing the scene and linking it globally. Earlier, he co-founded and ran THE ZOO (Vienna, 2006–2009), a club built from scratch with a custom bass-focused sound system, shaping community and programming standards.
