Biography & Metadata
Irish singer-songwriter Janet Devlin boldly redefined her musical identity with the release of her album Emotional Rodeo, in November 2024. Recorded at Nashville's iconic Blackbird Studio, the album showcases Janet's seamless transition into country-rock, blending her Irish roots with authentic Nashville sounds culminating in a collection of tracks that are both introspective and empowering. The album's success was evident, reaching #1 on the iTunes Country Charts and securing spots on various UK charts, including #4 on the Official Country Artists Albums Chart. Singles like Best Life, Red Flag and Houston gained significant traction, earning a place on BBC Radio 2's B List and receiving widespread acclaim. Janet's performances at the C2C: Country to Country festivals in London, Berlin, and Belfast, The British Country Music Festival, The Long Road Festival and Country Calling further solidified her presence in the country music scene. She released a deluxe version of the album; Not My First Emotional Rodeo (Deluxe) a year later with six new tracks and two stunning covers including “The Gambler - Live @ Hotel Quebec”. A busy festival season and more new music is on the cards for 2026 after she released Working For The Man which she wrote with Jack Savoretti.
