Bigg Dogg is a name synonymous with raw lyricism, vivid storytelling, and innovative production in the hip-hop world. As a seasoned artist and producer from Manhattan's Upper West Side, he has consistently demonstrated his love for the craft. Bigg Dogg's journey began in 2013 with Marc Ecko's Underground Airplay Mixtape, featuring notable acts like Joey Bada$$, Big K.R.I.T., and Smoke DZA. He gained further momentum with his debut mixtape "The1stFourty8" in September 2016, which included the single "Give And Take." The track received airplay on Hot 97 during its release week, with Peter Rosenberg hosting. Between 2016 and 2020, Bigg Dogg released various projects and music videos, solidifying his presence in the industry. In recent years, he has focused on production, releasing his EP "Metamorphosis" in February 2024, which showcased his growth as a rapper-producer. Bigg Dogg's raw perspective and personal experiences have set him apart in the hip-hop scene. As an Upper West Side MC, he plays a significant role alongside quite a few MC’s in keeping hip-hop alive in New York City. In September 2025, Bigg Dogg released his debut album "The Great Dane," which he fully produced and features collaborations with Lord Sko, LIFEOFTHOM, and Josiah Hotwire. This album marks a significant milestone in his career, demonstrating his artistic growth and dedication to the craft.
