Tee Jay got his big break when he released his Amapiano song ‘Samsokolo” in 2021 with Rascoe Kaos which featured Mr Jazziq, SirTrill, Thakzin DJ and Boohle, it was an instant hit that had peoplesinging along (raking in over 2 million streams on Spotify and stillgrowing). The song went 2 x Platinum and topped national radiocharts. He quickly penetrated the AmaPiano scene with minimal effort. Hereleased his iconic studio album with Thakzin DJ “1 000 000 AmapianoSeconds Kings of the Surface” where Tee Jay showcased his creativityby blending voices and features from many diverse musicians. Tee Jay has produced numerous hit songs for and collaborated withmany artists; he has worked with almost every major artist in thecountry and beyond including Davido, Mr JazziQ, Josiah da Desciple,Nkosazana Daughter, Sir Trill, Aymos, Nia Pearl, Murumba Pitch, DJClock, Lady Du, Mpura Mpura, Musa Keys, Distruction Boyz, Mfana KaGogo and Kwesta to name a few.
