KickRaux is an internationally recognized songwriter, DJ & producer within global rhythm culture. Early in his career, he became one of the first signees to Grammy winning engineer Neil Pogue’s Fulton Yard production company that led to his first official major production credit: an official remix for M.I.A.’s “XXXO” released on Interscope Records. Born in Portmore, Jamaica, KickRaux would go on to become one of the architects of Future Dancehall; a forward-leaning sound that helped redefine how Caribbean energy translates into global club and festival spaces. His music has received international DJ and radio support across the Caribbean, UK and Africa including features and rotation on Y100, 99 JAMZ in Miami, KCRW in LA, BBC Radio 1Xtra in the UK, Diplo & Friends, Jack Ü sets, Major Lazer and Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep Radio, ZJ Sparks, Seani B, MistaJam & more. Beyond radio and club circuits, KickRaux’s work and cultural influence have been featured across major global publications including Complex, Billboard Magazine, VIBE, The Source, i-D, Hypebeast, EARMILK, The Jamaica Observer newspaper, The Jamaica Gleaner newspaper, Reggaeville and many more.
