Cecily Beer

Cecily has performed all over the world including Europe, The Middle East, Australasia, the French Polynesia and the USA. She has held the position of Resident Harpist at The Waldorf Hotel, Covent Garden since 2014, and regularly plays at private functions and orchestral engagements. She has taken part in broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio London and most recently featured on Classic FM's Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve 2023. Cecily is also a choral singer, which has resulted in her specialising in music for harp and choir, particularly advocating for new works written for the combination. She was a guest recitalist in Kuwait City in 2014, performing as part of the British Council's Cultural Season at the Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, in collaboration with the British Embassy of Kuwait. More recent work includes appearing as a soloist with the Brandberg Sinfonia and The Shipley Festival, and taking part in some exciting recording projects for the Convivium Records and Ad Fontes labels.
