Mwayz

Samoa Fune, better known as Mwayz previously known as (Hp Mwayz) from Hp Boyz. Born and bred in South east Melbourne,Australia. Mwayz had a humble upbringing being part of Polynesian family where loyalty, working hard and persistence are core values. As a child, he enjoyed singing alongside his youth and learned the basics of music, It was in the early ages of his childhood , when he discovered rap artist Biggie Smalls, Tupac and other mid-90th-century performers, that he began to consider a musical career. He had a turbulent teen life when at a young age of 18 he became a father and began putting pen to paper to pursue a dream and a career. After school , lessons were learnt quick. Determined to provide for his family and in hopes to make a career out of music due to the joy music bought him. As Mwayz continued on with his music journey, he made a name for himself in the hip-hop and rap scene, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Melbourne Based rap group Hp Boyz. Before Mwayz departure, the group circulated over 100 million streams across platforms, which included the hit tracks “Bad n Bouj , Engineers and Loyalty” with all tracks making rankings on Nz charts for months. Mwayz now continuing his journey as a solo artist, No motivation is loss. The goal and vision remains the same.
