After bursting onto the global music scene in 2016, Amy Shark’s six-time platinum single Adore put her on the map as one of Australia’s most formidable songwriters. Amy has since released further multi-platinum singles including I Said Hi and Everybody Rise, won eight ARIA Awards from 37 nominations, four APRA Awards from 14 nominations and taken home a Logie Award. Across just three #1 debuting albums, 2018’s Love Monster, 2021’s Cry Forever and 2024’s Sunday Sadness, Amy Shark has established herself as one of the defining artists of modern Australian music. She’s collaborated with some of the world’s biggest names including Travis Barker, Ed Sheeran and Keith Urban. But Amy’s upcoming fourth album soft pop (out July 31, 2026), is the one she regards as her proudest musical moment yet. soft pop represents more than an album. It is Amy Shark’s rebirth. An artist evolving into her next chapter, carving out her own genre, and doing so all on her own terms - with vulnerability, relatability, determination and guts. Written entirely by Amy and with one sole producer (Dann Hume), soft pop has no co-writes, no guest features, no drums. All Amy! 2026 is massive for Amy who, alongside soft pop’s release, returns as a judge on Australian Idol for a fourth consecutive season, and makes her feature film and acting debut in ‘Beast’ alongside Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth and Daniel MacPherson. It’s Amy’s world; we’re just living in it!
