IAMNOBODI

Nearly half his life, IAMNOBODI has been making music. He began producing at the age of 13, developing steadily toward a professional career shaped early by a musically driven household — his Nigerian-born father a blues and jazz singer, his mother a dedicated listener and supporter. IAMNOBODI is best known for his work on Victory Lap by Nipsey Hussle, and as a three-time Grammy-nominated producer, as well as for his long-standing early association with the Los Angeles-based label Soulection. Alongside his solo releases, productions, and remixes, his work includes collaborations with artists such as Lil Wayne, Bryson Tiller, Little Simz, Freddie Gibbs, and Teyana Taylor. Influenced by jazz, soul, house, hip-hop, ambient, and electronic music, his sound emphasizes feel, pacing, and detail over formula. Each track is treated as its own construction rather than part of a trend. Though his DJ appearances are rare, they have developed a strong reputation, shaped by years of experience and past shared stages with artists such as Kaytranada, Flying Lotus, and Sango. The focus remains on long-form selection and control rather than regular performance.
