Dead Astronauts

Dead Astronauts have spent the last decade carving out their own corner of the darkwave underground, blurring the lines between synthwave, post-punk, goth and cinematic electronic music. Now operating as the duo of Jared Kyle and Slade Templeton, the band has become known for pairing melancholic melodies with haunting storytelling, earning a loyal international following and releases through Cold Transmission Music and NewRetroWave. Following the acclaimed "Ghosts" LP, Dead Astronauts return this autumn with their fifth studio album, Shallow Grave. Their darkest and most immediate work to date. Equal parts intimate and unsettling, the record digs beneath memory, obsession and mortality, proving once again that Dead Astronauts are less interested in nostalgia than they are in the void left behind when those memories fade.
