August.III

From RnB to trap to afrobeats, August.III blends his African and British heritage to create a unique, global sound that’s hard to pigeon-hole into a single genre. Hotly tipped as ‘one to watch’, August.III’s 2021 single Desire, in collaboration with Nigerian superstar Bella Shmurda, achieved more than 100k streams in its first week and gained backing from Kiss FM, Spotify and Audiomack editorial playlists. Following the success of his 2020 debut single, Paaji, which has so far clocked up more than 500k worldwide streams, August.III brings in the King of Dancehall, Beenie Man, for a remix which is certain to cement him as one of the UK’s rising afrobeats stars. 2021 also saw the release of August.III’s debut EP, Hospital Talk.
