Cam Wales

Growing up in California’s heartland of high-energy pop punk, Wales developed an appreciation for the technical side of music composition from an early age. “I understand how important it is to put your own feeling into literally every part of songwriting,” he says. “That’s what I want to keep with this project: being as creative with it as possible, and making sure it’s something I truly love.” This sentiment is outlined through Cam’s clean, sharp guitar lines and driving musical arrangements. Wales’ foray into high energy pop punk infused rock is the next chapter of an already remarkable career. Once part of the duo NEFFEX, Wales racked up more than a billion YouTube views thanks to the band’s 100 Songs In 100 Weeks campaign. Despite the accolades, Wales acknowledges that going solo can be an uphill climb. But his music comes with a message: don’t underestimate him.
